National Gallery Singapore holds the largest collection of modern art in Southeast Asia. But with fewer Singaporeans visiting, museums became emptier than ever, and the gap between people and art grew even wider.

So we took art out of the gallery and into the heartlands. We brought colour to the most sterile of places, like our void decks, transforming everyday spaces into vibrant encounters with culture. If people wouldn’t come to the art, we brought the art to the people.
